Minimum Value: There is no minimum value. 50 percent of the cost must be matched by the applicant.
There are three levels of grants:
- Grants under £500
- Grants between £500 and £2000
- Grants over £2000
Parishes will be awarded a grant of up to 50 percent toward printing and publicity costs of Parish Plans based on the size of the village population:
- A maximum grant of £500 for Plans in villages with a population of less than 5,000
- A maximum of £750 for Plans in villages with a population of more than 5,000
Extended Description:
The Community Development Grants scheme is provided and administered by Charnwood Borough Council. Funding is intended to support projects with set-up costs and on-going activities of voluntary or community organisations that further the Council's aims and that actively assist the community to enjoy a better quality of life.
