Annual Review 2008/09

Annual Review 2008/09

If one word could sum up the year at VAL it would be ‘tender’. This was the year that VAL itself got heavily involved in major tenders and in particular was successful in winning the Leicestershire-wide tenders to provide Infrastructure Services and to deliver Grassroots Grants. These successes will result in a historical change to VAL’s role, extending our support to groups and volunteers outside the City, taking over the infrastructure support and volunteering role from colleagues in the County.
