Our next Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) voluntary and community sector (VCS) forum will take place on 28 March 2017.

Why attend?

Our confirmed key note speakers and funders are:

  • Paul Meredith, Interim Director for Children & Young People at Leicestershire County Council, and Frances Craven, Director of Children and Schools from Leicester City Council, who will be talking about children’s priorities, given the savings that are being made in children’s services, over the coming year for Leicester and Leicestershire
  • Tina Robinson, who will be sharing news and updates about a new fund that you can apply for called The Youth Social Action Fund
  • Noel Singh, Funding Manager for Leicestershire County Council, who will be talking about better collaborative working with the voluntary sector.
  • Matt Rowe, Funding Officer for National Lottery, who will be talking about the new applications strategy – People in the Lead

We will be showing a very important film during the workshop session, that will provide an insight into the world of digital safeguarding.

Refreshments will be provided. Find out more in the draft forum agenda.
