Our next Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) voluntary and community sector (VCS) forum will take place on 12 December 2017.

Why attend?

Our forum gives voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups across Leicester and Leicestershire the opportunity to receive and share information, network and have their voices heard.

The agenda is still being finalised but we hope to include:

  • An update from Vince Attwood and Matt Lilly on the Children's Trust Board VCS Representative and Forum Feedback
  • Sessions on Prevent to safeguard young people from radicalisation and extremism
  • A workshop on how to work in partnership to achieve the Prevent agenda
  • A Project Showcase from Strive

Refreshments will be provided. Find out more in the draft forum agenda.

Who can attend?

The forum is open to any VCS group or social enterprise that provides services or deliver projects that benefit children, young people or families in Leicester or Leicestershire.

Whether you’re a leading national charity delivering comprehensive services or a small, informal group providing local advice, we look forward to welcoming you at our forum.

Showcase your group

We're looking for groups who would like to showcase their work at the CYPF forum. If you would like to showcase your organisation please email kevin.a@valonline.org.uk to secure a space. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
