A Children's Manifesto working group

Date and time: Wednesday 1 December 2011 at Voluntary Action Leicestershire 2pm-4pm.

At the last children, young people and families forum, Voluntary Action LeicesterShire explored ideas of developing a children's manifesto for Leicester/Leicestershire through discussion workshops.A Voluntary and Community Sector Children's Manifesto for Leicester/LeicesterShire would bring together groups with evidence-based recommendations that would help to set out practical steps we can take to improve life for for future generations - and demand action from local authorities.  VAL will be organising additional discussions on this topic for groups to look at this in more detail.
