Customer Service Team Leader (Maternity Cover minimum 6 months)

Starting salary: £27,052 plus 13% pension contribution

Voluntary Action LeicesterShire is looking maternity cover for the post of Customer Service Team Leader. The successful candidate should be a
motivated, people oriented, self-starter to lead the team which runs both the busy Front of House service for the organisation, a Meeting Training and Conference facility and a helpline service which is at the heart of our provision of services to the Voluntary Sector.

This is a demanding role which encompasses the following:

• Increasing the trading share of the conference market, by actively promoting services available.
• The staffing of the facility, including casual cover rotas for weekend and evenings,
• Promotion of an accessible, welcoming and safe environment for users of the facility
• Maintenance and development of the facilities
• Monitoring the performance of the facility and influencing future plans
• Liaison with staff responsible for general maintenance, health and safety and security
• Line Management for staff in each area of delivery

Your Customer Care skills should be exemplary, as the facility currently provides a very high standard of service to a diverse range of customers, whose needs can be complex. You should also have a clear understanding of the Equality and Diversity issues involved in the delivery of this type of service.
