Digital Activists Tackling Technology Near You
The first of the Digital Activists for Leicester have now finished their community engagement focussed training on ‘How to be a Digital Activist'.
The DAIN Digital Activists will be volunteering their services around Leicester City in a Drop-In Session capacity. They will have laptops, net books and digital camcorders to show you.
The venues currently established for these drop-in sessions are:

Digital Activists will be able to show you how to set-up an email account, how to get into social networking online, how to search the internet effectively for information, jobs, online shopping etc; they even have information on ICT courses across Leicester to help you gain ICT skills. If you have specific questions they will try their best to answer them then and there otherwise they offer an email back service whereby they will answer your query after researching it further.
Our drop-in sessions are open to everyone, please come along and our Digital Activists will try to help you tackle technology.
