This scheme, funded by Leicestershire County Council, enables voluntary youth organisations which operate in the County to apply for grants to cover all, or part of the cost of emergency repairs to buildings which they own or lease. This is money for buying items which are short term - running costs, staff costs, small sports and games equipment, arts and crafts materials, trips and residentials, etc.

And the Youth Capital Fund (YCF) is money for bigger items, and building alterations - youth shelter, MUGA, new kitchen in a youth centre, building upgrades, etc.
