The maximum size of a grant in Round 2 is £6,000.
Grants will be distributed from April 2010 and will fund activities that take place between April 2010 and March 2011.
Extended Description:
Faiths in Action is a £4 million grants programme sponsored by Communities and Local Government (CLG) and administered by the Community Development Foundation (CDF).
The Fund is open to faith, inter faith, voluntary and community sector organisations across England working at a local, regional or national level.
The programme is intended to promote understanding, dialogue and strong partnership between faith communities and their local neighbourhoods. It is hoped the funds will encourage collaborative social action and allow people of different faiths and beliefs to come together and share their time, energy and skills to improve their local community.

Round Two of the Faiths in Action Fund is now open.
There is no formal deadline for applications - Round 2 is a rolling programme.
