Healthwatch Leicestershire has released its Annual Report for 2017/18, which also includes some highlights of the last five years of the service.

Over the last year, Healthwatch Leicestershire has been in direct contact with 944 individuals through activities and events, and has communicated with 3,964 members, email subscribers and Twitter followers.

The service conducted two Enter and View visits, and produced reports on patients views of GP services, Fibromyalgia and support for pregnant women and new mums.

New arrangements for Healthwatch Leicestershire

After five years of serving communities in Leicestershire, there will be a new arrangement and provider for Healthwatch Leicester City and Leicestershire. 

As of 1 April, Engaging Communities Staffordshire (ECS) will be taking over the contract for Healthwatch Leicestershire from VAL.

Healthwatch Leicestershire and VAL are proud to have set up and provided an informed voice on behalf of patients and the public on health and social care for the County over the past 5 years and helping to improve services for local people.
