VAL's new ‘Health Check' gives you an instant picture of how your group is doing against 8 key indicators which are:
- Funding
- Employment
- Performance Management
- Policies and Procedures
- Planning
- Volunteering
- Governance
- Financial Systems
By completing a 'Health Check' your group can identify any areas which may you may need support with. VAL's Group Support team can then offer you advice on how you can improve in these areas.
Call the VAL Helpline on 0116 257 5050 to make an appointment to complete your 'Health Check' today with one of our experienced Group Support Development Officers or you can drop-in to 9 Newarke Street, Leicester Monday - Thursday between 1-5pm. Appointments are also available throughout the County, please call for an appointment.
VAL’s Group Support Service offers advice, support and information to Voluntary and Community Sector Groups in Leicester and Leicestershire. We believe that with good support and advice, Voluntary and Community Sector groups will gain skills and knowledge to become empowered, develop and grow.
We provide support on all issues relating to your group's development and growth including:
