It's National Trustees Week from 13-17 November and we want to highlight some of the great work that trustees are doing in the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in Leicester and Leicestershire.

Trustee Surgery

We're running a trustee surgery on the evening of Tuesday 14 November for existing trustees who want to learn more skills for managing their organisations, as well as members of the public who are considering becoming a trustee.

Trustee Stories

We'll also be presenting some stories of local trustees, including some of VAL's own trustees.

We're still accepting stories and we'd love to hear your experience. You can send us your story via our online form.

Support for Trustees

We'll also be highlighting some of our resources to help trustees, including our online guides and our volunteering search website where you can find trustee vacancies with local organisations.

Get involved

If you'd like to become a trustee, why not consider becoming a VAL trustee?

We're always happy to consider new trustees with the skills and drive to help us with our mission of helping people change their lives for the better.

You can also search for trustee roles on our VAL Volunteering website.
