Extended Description:
Specifically for organisations working in Leicestershire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Suffolk, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex.
An emphasis on projects working in deprived neighbourhoods is the main and most important criteria of the programme. Applicants should demonstrate their organisation works in a deprived neighbourhood and the impact their project will have on the deprived neighbourhood.
Funding can be used for revenue, capital and core-costs.

Availability of funds:
The fund has experienced a shortage of applicants in recent rounds and Voluntary Action LeicesterShire recommend groups which fit the criteria of the programme contact VAL for support in developing an application.
Deadline:
There are no deadlines. The panel meet and review applications quarterly.
Support with application:
The Henry Smith Charity does not provide support with completing applications. VAL provides free support with project planning and developing an application. For support please contact the VAL Helpline on 0116 257 5047.
