Invitation to tender - families in need of support
North West Leicestershire District Council are looking to procure a range of services to families most in need of intervention and support. Providers of the services will work along side Sure Start Centres core team. Please email ccsupport@nwleicestershire.gov.uk to request an application pack or call 01530 454 681.
The deadline for submission of the tender is 30 November 2011.
Services being procured include:
- Physical activity and nutrition support - Up to £28,000
- Breastfeeding support - Up to £9,000
- Engaging and understanding the needs of disabled families - Up to £2,000
- Supporting those experiencing domestic abuse - Up to £15,000
- Supporting children who have witnessed domestic abuse - Up to £11,000
- Improving home safety and accident prevention - Up to £3,750
- Improving children¹s achievement - Personal, social and emotional development of children aged 0-5 years. There are two sub-sections to this area of funding. - Up to £30,000
- Improving children¹s achievement - Communication, language and literacy development for children aged 0-5 years. There are two sub-sections to this area of funding. - Up to £51,000
- Improving the overall achievement of 0-5 year olds. - Up to £19,000
- Engaging parents in learning and supporting them into employment. - Up to £25,000
- Involving parents and supporting volunteers - including parental engagement in decision making, volunteer co-ordination and volunteer development. - Up to £40,000
- Family learning, play and social development. - Up to £40,000
- Supporting families with debt, housing and benefit difficulties. - Up to £20,000
