Compact
The Compacts are agreements between the public sector and the voluntary and community sector to improve their relationships for mutual advantage and community gain. This will be achieved by meeting the commitments set out in the Compacts and by following the procedures it provides for tackling the issues they may face. The documents further provide the opportunity for all these sectors to work together fairly and to bring about positive change for the people of Leicester and Leicestershire.

Any organisation wishing to sign up must complete the pledge form and return it to Voluntary Action Leicestershire:

For Public Sector Bodies and Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations that are in a funding relationship, as well as the shared commitments, there are particular commitments set out in the Compact that they will also have to sign up to. These are set in the Annex to the Compact
