Sign up to the Compact and protect your services

The Compact is an agreement between the public sector such as the Local Authority and the voluntary and community sector.  It aims to strengthen relationships between the sectors to improve services to local communities.

Many organisations are unaware of the power of the Compact. The Compact is between all public sector partners and members of the VCS regardless of how they are funded. In the current economic climate it is more important than ever to sign up.

If you sign up to the Compact your Group will have:

  • A stronger voice with better consultation
  • A chance to influence public sector decisions with a platform to challenge
  • Fairer funding and commissioning processes
  • A safety net to help protect your services in a unstable economic climate
