Extended Description:
The Community Programme is provided by the Lloyds TSB Foundation and offers grants to charities working throughout England and Wales to support work that enables disadvantaged people to play a fuller role in their communities.
The Community Programme focuses on funding core work that helps disadvantaged people to play a fuller role in the community. The programme is particularly interested in work that achieves this through:
- Improved social and community involvement
- Improved life chances
- Helping people to be heard
The Community Programme funds charities to continue and develop existing community-based work, or to develop the organisation or its services.
Latest Information:
Following the acquisition of HBOS plc by Lloyds TSB plc on 19 January 2009 resulting in Lloyds Banking Group, the grant-making activities of the HBOS Foundation will be replaced by the Lloyds TSB Foundation grants programmes.
