Local Context / Children’s Trusts

Leicester City, Leicestershire County and Rutland County all have developing Children’s Trust arrangements. These arrangements are the way in which all key partners (providing services for children & young people in the local authority area) work in partnership and coordinate services and effort.

Each of the Children’s Trust arrangements oversees the development and implementation of an over-arching multi-agency Children and Young People’s Plan for the local authority area, and has a governance structure which has a top level multi-agency Board, with various sub-groups / meetings sitting underneath the Board.
