Your local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Forum
The Community LinX Forum is held each quarter and provides the opportunity for voluntary and community sector representatives from a wide range of local organisations to meet and discuss relevant issues. The Forum provides an opportunity to exchange information, share ideas and good practice and promote mutual support and joint working.
It also aims to be a recognised and authorised consultative body for Melton Borough Council and any other public service agencies operating in the borough on issues affecting the local community and the voluntary community and social enterprise sector.
The Forum also provides representatives from the local voluntary sector to sit on Melton Community Partnership, the County Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly and other forums as appropriate.
The next meeting will be held in June - for more information contact Alison Hodson - Development Officer - Melton - 07791 312946 - alison.h@valonline.org.uk
