Draft VCS Contract for Consultation
The City Council has published a draft of a new contract for the voluntary sector organisations that they fund. The period of consultation ran until 5th December 2008.
VAL has obtained legal advice on the draft contract on behalf of voluntary and community groups to raise awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of the new draft contract. A document containing an extract of the legal advice is available below. A full table of all points raised in the consultation is attached with a comment, when provided, by the City Council alongside what happens next.
The latest draft of the Contract following the consultation has now been written the document can be downloaded below (Draft Contract for Community Based Services 20 Feb 2009).
