Targeted Support Fund Launched
What is the TSF?
The TSF is a fund to provide additional financial support to groups who are experiencing an up-turn in demand as a result of the current financial crisis.
The fund is specifically for projects in the following areas:
- Information advice & guidance
- Employment and employability
- Health & Wellbeing
What Funding Is Available?
Organisations can apply for a minimum of £10,000 and a maximum of £40,000
Application Process
Application Submission Deadline: 29th June 2009

All applications will go through a rigorous assessment process involving either an assessment visit or a telephone interview.
Who Can Apply?
Organisations must meet the following criteria:
- A third sector organisation, this includes; registered charities, ‘exempted' or ‘excepted' charities, voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises
- An annual income of between £30,000 and £250,000 - taken as an average over the last three years
- Active in their local community for a minimum of 18 months
- Working within the City of Leicester
What Funding Can Be Used For?
Grants will primarily fund revenue costs such as:
- Wages and on-costs (National Insurance, Insurances)
- Associated Overheads (rent, telephone, heat & light, materials)
- Contribution to core costs
