VAL was given £26,321 in April 2009 and £25,316 in 2008 by Children in Need for its VALUES Youth Project, now in its fifth year.
The scheme aims to give young people with learning disabilities and children at risk of exclusion in Leicester the chance to play a role in the community.
The cleanup near the General Hospital has been ongoing for a few months.
Sana Ahsan, VALUES Assistant Team Leader at VAL appears on the video and thoroughly enjoyed being part of the BBC production.
