WISE Festival of Entrepreneurship Competition

Working in Social Enterprise (WISE) is a programme of support for new and existing social enterprises and voluntary and community groups in Leicester. WISE is holding a Festival of Entrepreneurship to celebrate the achievements of social enterprise in Leicester.

How to enter the competition

Please send us a social impact report in four or less PowerPoint slides by 9am on Tuesday 28 February 2012.

A shortlist of 6 finalists will be invited to present their social impact report at the Festival of Entrepreneurship WISE Networking Event on Tuesday 6 March.

A social impact report presents the changes you have made to the lives of the beneficiaries you serve. A social impact or outcome is the difference you have made to someone or a community. Examples of social impacts are:

  • For a social enterprise selling gift boxes, a social impact could be unemployed people being trained in manufacture and sales
  • For a social enterprise delivering against a contract for housing support, the social impacts could be service users who have improved confidence and returned to work

Send your entry by email to: krupa.jb@valonline.org.uk
