Befriending Scheme Co-ordinator
Salary: £25,000 (£10,807 pro rata)
Terms: Temporary (6 months, initially)
Hours: Part time 16 hours per week

The post holder will set-up and co-ordinate the delivery of Braunstone Over 60's Befriending Scheme. Deliver the scheme through active recruitment and training of Volunteer Befrienders and promoting the scheme to recruit over 60's clients.
Ensuring high levels of safeguarding and confidentiality are embedded and maintained and that suitable befriending matches are made and monitored. Working within the b-connected service and in partnership with local service providers and local delivery agents to improve neighbourhood based services for over 60's in Braunstone.
