Newly Elected VCS Representative
Ian Hale from Family Action has been elected as the new representative to sit on both the Leicestershire Children and Young People Commissioning Board and the Leicestershire Children and Young People Commissioning Executive Board. Nikki Thompson of Barnardos and Peter Davey from Bridge Housing will support Ian with Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Policy support alongside VAL within his role.
Voluntary Action Leicestershire (VAL) continues to support the VCS to have a voice within local partnerships and thrives to influence decisions across Leicester City and Leicestershire. VAL offers a wide range of support and mechanisms to representatives to influence decision makers and feed in and back to the VCS.
