Neighbourhood Learning for Deprived Communities

Leicester City Council are inviting applications from Voluntary and Community Sector organisations who wish to offer pre-employment and vocational training activities.

Training providers must be able to offer a safe, healthy and supportive environment, employ recruitment processes that comply with the law and ensure that vulnerable adults are protected. Beneficiaries must be within one of Leicester city's priority areas and grants of up £10,000 are available. 

We apologise for last week's item in which we suggested that NLDC funds were only available up to £5,000.

In order to apply you must first discuss your project with one of the learning zone coordinators for Leicester City (details attached). Deadline for applications is 20 September.
