The Co-operative launches £21m campaign to inspire young people

Last month, the Co-operative Group launched a £21m campaign to help to reverse the negative image and treatment of those aged 25 and under and support their future life goals and ambitions. This includes the creation of a new Apprenticeship Academy that will provide 2,000 posts over the next two years.

The eight point Inspiring Young People campaign focuses on three main areas: education , training and community engagement opportunities and campaigning . The campaign will also include investments of £1 million to support the rapid expansion of Co-operative Trust Schools, bringing the total number to 200, and a further £1.5million in Green Schools, the biggest programme of its kind in the UK, alongside other initiatives.
