Regional Compact Voice events - Leicester 22 June at Voluntary Action LeicesterShire

Compact Voice will be holding a series of Local Compact implementation events around the country, throughout spring and summer 2010.
These events will bring together representatives from regional and local voluntary sector groups, public bodies and Local Compact implementation groups. They will help Compact partners to strengthen their own Compact working in light of the recent refresh of the national Compact. The sessions will be interactive, focussed on getting results for all partners, and will be held in a central location within all nine English regions.

A refreshed Compact for Leicestershire
Leicestershire is currently in the process of refreshing the local Compact in light of the economic situation and new national guidance. The consultation on the new Compact Leicestershire will start on the 10 May 2010 and finish on the 30 July 2010. A series of local consultation meetings specifically to look at Compact Leicestershire will be held during this consultation period. Further information on locality and dates will follow.
