Technical Assistance Training Session

The Technical Assistance team is running a learning session on How to Run a Direct Spent Project. This session will help you to divide your project into direct and indirect costs, working out which cost options suits your project the most and how to calculate staff salaries in accordance to European Social Fund (ESF) guidelines.

ESF programmes are direct spend projects; this means that every penny spent on the project must be accounted for and evidenced in order to receive the money for the project. This can be particularly daunting to groups who have run of only grants programmes in the past. There are also strict guidelines on working out staff costs and what costs can be claimed.

Why attend?

In this training session, will have the opportunity to look at case studies to identify the best cost option for different projects and be able to identify the direct and indirect costs for their organisation. You will also have the chance to calculate different staff costs and look at how this can be applied to your own organisation.

Who can attend

The Technical Assistance learning sessions are open to any not-for-profit organisation delivering services in Leicester or Leicestershire.
