Rathbone are a national charity with an ethical approach to employer based training and one of the original prime movers and partners in ‘Fair Train.

Fair Train helps charities, social enterprises and other not for profit organisations to fund, recruit and train apprentices. Fair Train will help charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations secure government funding to train apprentices.

Course: Doing Equality Impact Assessments

This course aims to enable participants to understand why and how to conduct Equality Impact Assessments (EIA's) in the context of their roles within organisations. The session will cover legislation relating to equality assessment, how to conduct assessments and incorporating this within other processes with your organisation. The session is being run by Chino Cabon of the Race Equality Centre.

Collaborative Investment Programme Funding for groups

The Collaborative Investment Programme (C.I.P.) has 28 bursaries available to support creative and cultural individuals and organisations to work collaboratively with children and young people and to support microenterprises to engage vulnerable adults and the local community in the co-production of services.

Bursaries of up to £2,500 are available for individual practitioners/sole traders working with children and young people and micro-enterprises working with vulnerable adults.

Gay and Bisexual and Asian men survey

The LGF and Trade, as part of the CHAPS (Community HIV & AIDS Prevention Strategy) partnership, have developed a survey, in order to gain a greater understanding of the needs of Asian men who identify as gay or bisexual.
