Hours: 30 - 35 hours per week f/t preferred 15 - 17.5 p/t possible

Voluntary Action Melton are looking for two resourceful outgoing people with the ability to empathise and encourage, and a wide range of practical skills including one to one listening and organising public meetings. If chosen you will work in Melton and be trained and accredited as one of 500 community organisers in a new national movement.

Riverside Housing Association is looking to develop a partnership with a VCS organisation that would be interested in delivering support to unemployed tenants and residents in Leicester and Leicestershire to help them move closer to the labour market and/or find work. Riverside has concentrations of housing in South Braunstone, Beaumanor and Kirby Frith, as well as dispersed stock across the city and county.

Team is a 12 week full time personal development programme for unemployed 16-25 year olds delivered by Leics Fire & Rescue Service on behalf of The Prince's Trust. Part of the Prince's Trust Team programme involves the group carrying out a two week community project. Previous examples of this involve decorating a community centre, sprucing up a garden/allotment or painting a recreational room at a home for the elderly.
