Voluntary Sector Partnership Mental Health Forum

The VSP Mental Health Forum was formed to respond to local service planning and development needs. It exists to harness the wealth of expertise and experience of the voluntary sector; and to provide a supportive network for sharing views, news, and insights. By working together and sharing the knowledge and time of members it will inform and contribute to meeting local mental health needs.

Aims
• To enable the voluntary sector to become an equal and effective partner in the design and delivery of local services
• To advise local mental health commissioners in the planning and development of new services
• To review and comment on current services and service gaps
• To reflect voluntary views on proposed changes to local services
• To support the voluntary sector to share and promote good practice
• To inspire confidence in mental health provision across the voluntary sector
• To build and enhance capacity within the sector to meet new challenges
• To provide a support network for organisations and individual workers
• To fairly represent the views of all members

The next Voluntary Sector Partnership Mental Health Forum will be held at VAL on Wednesday 4 August , 10am -12.30pm.
