This session is designed specifically for volunteers working with adults with drug and alcohol issues and aims to give the participant the competence and willingness to help out in an first aid emergency.

This two-hour session will cover the basic skills related to this particular area of work and break down some of the barriers that prevent people from assisting others in times of need. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance and an information pack containing resources that can be taken away.

The session is facilitated by Clare King of the Red Cross and is fully funded.
