Train to deliver Centre for Fun and Families (CFF) Group work parenting programmes. Centre for Fun and Families Ltd (CFF) two evidence based parenting programmes are a positive and effective intervention in supporting parental involvement plus enable change in children and teenagers behaviour in a range of settings, e.g. schools, community, pre-school.

2.5 days of accredited training. The Training will run Tuesday 27th all day, Wednesday 28th all day and the morning of Thursday 1st March 2018. It will be interactive, practical, instructive and will build on your existing knowledge and skill.

The training course covers the necessary skills and materials to deliver the Fun and families group programme for parents and carers of 3-11 years and the Living with Teenagers group programme for parents and carers 11-16 years. All participants receive a detailed group facilitator’s guide including step by step session plans. There is an expectation that all staff attending the training complete a portfolio post training to demonstrate understanding and awareness of the theoretical basis, Social Learning Theory and Cognitive Behavioural Theory and the practical application of this within the group.

CFF staff are available to support with the portfolio post training and do not want the portfolio to be a barrier to enthusiastic and committed staff. This training is ideal for staff working within schools who want to develop group work skills, strategies for working with and supporting parents.
